DIAMOND PAINTING

SPEED UP THE PROCESS

Does the thought of placing one rhinestone after another until the entire artwork is completed seem intimidating to you? It doesn't need to be that way! Let's make your artwork as simple as possible and get it underway! Here are various tips on this:

  • Try our sticky tack approach. Typically, a diamonding pen is dipped into the tack (which comes with every diamond painting set), and the tip of the pen takes a tiny portion of the sticky tack, allowing the pen to pick up diamonds.
  • Why not skip the pen and just dump all the diamonds right onto the sticky tack? Yes, you actually can, and it will make it a lot easier to fill in the larger areas designated with the same symbol!

  • Do you prefer having your work sped up like this? Aside from the sticky tack, you can utilise a number of additional tools, such as our wooden pen with the 13 metal attachments, to make applying rhinestones to canvas easier and more precise!

That's not even half of it. We also offer diamonding pens with a roller on one end for those who want to work quickly. Using that, you'll be able to pick up an ample number of diamonds in one smooth stroke and evenly distribute them over your canvas! Several colourful spare attachments are also supplied.

GET YOUR HOUSE IN ORDER!

  • There's always that one hitch, when painting with diamonds. In the excitement of the moment, they frequently spill out, get jumbled up, and easily mess with your head. That will not happen to you with our organisers. There are plenty to choose from, so why not make the most of it?! With your rhinestones perfectly sorted, you won’t get sidetracked by them anymore. Definitely at least not because they're disorganised..

PAINTING BY NUMBERS

DO NOT FEAR DRIED PAINT!

  • The paints should remain useable for an extended amount of time provided you close them properly. But what if the lid was left ajar and the paint has lost its consistency?
  • Dip a paintbrush in water and then drop a couple of drops into the paint pot. With a toothpick, thoroughly stir the contents until it's nice and smooth again, and you're ready to get painting!

FUSE BEADS

STEER CLEAR OF DISASTER!

  • After working for hours on end, there's nothing more aggravating than to put your palm down on the stacked portion of the pegboard and have all the beads stick to it! To ensure success, powder your hands with loose baby powder beforehand, which will "coat" not only your hands, but also your anxieties!
  • Another approach is to tape the completed parts together as you work your way through. Gradually work from top to bottom, securing each completed part with masking tape as soon as possible..

APPLY YOUR FUSE BEADS IN DIFFERENT WAYS!

  • Do you use tweezers or your fingers to place the beads on the pegboard?
  • If you already have a creative diamond painting kit at home, you could try a diamonding pen instead! Just stick the tip in the middle of the bead, press with your finger, and transfer onto the pegboard!

DOTTING POINTS

START IN THE CENTRE!

  • When dotting, we recommend starting within the middle of the painting and not bouncing from one spot to the next; this way, the motif you chose will start to form more quickly from the hundreds of dots in front of you!
  • If you're dotting with more than one person, start from separate sides.
  • The dotting technique is one of our most elementary. It takes no time to complete and does not require the use of many tools or much thought. The best advice we can give you is to put on some music or a podcast on your headphones and truly unwind!
